Shorex Roof Consulting provides Roof Consulting and installation, financing, monitoring and maintenance services to Solar Photovoltaic Developers throughout Ontario, specializing in mitigating the risk associated with rooftop installations.

Our experienced technical and sales team conducts site inspections to assess solar potential and suitability of the roof structure or ground for accommodation of a solar photovoltaic system. Once we determine the suitability of the site, we design a solar array and electrical system specific to the application and conduct a financial feasibility analysis to predict return on investment.

Our management team consists of Roof Consultants, Structural and Electrical Engineers and Financial Advisers.

We monitor photovoltaic system performance via remote monitoring stations and perform bi-annual inspections of the solar array and all connected electrical systems. Our partner service technicians mitigate costly break-downs by inspecting and repairing electrical component anomalies, clean the solar modules in the array, inspect and repair deficiencies in the roof system and determine potential problems before they occur.

With offices and strategic alliances in place throughout Ontario, we are able to respond to emergencies quickly and efficiently, reducing down time and maximizing power generation.

SOLAR THERMAL HEATING

Solar thermal systems are designed to use the sun’s energy to heat air or hot water. Our technical team is able to determine suitability of your building site to utilize the power of the sun to generate supplemental heat from thermal collectors and integrated duct systems.

Our modular solar air heaters are intended to provide warm air during the day to supplement your existing heating system in the winter.

The SolarSheat Hot Water system is a dual mode solar air space heating system for winter use. During summer it becomes a solar domestic hot water system.

Although there are many challenges around the engineering, procurement and construction of a solar photovoltaic system, financing is perhaps the most difficult of all in today’s tight credit market.
